Rated 5 out of 5 by cocodupree from If I could give this rug 10 stars I would!I have been searching for a fluffy white rug for nearly 2 years and after 7 others ordered and returned, I finally found this amazing cloud-like rug from Land of Nod. It is everything it promotes: luxurious, soft, plush, and the most gorgeous white color. It has an amazing 70's shag feel without feeling dated - I could not love it more! And the best part, you can get a sample of the rug to bring home for just $10 to see if it will really work in your space before you make the commitment (+ you can return and apply towards your purchase!). Fantastic piece, totally completes the room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by artist mama from A tactile dreamI bought this rug for my kids' playroom a few months ago. I went with a white rug because there is so much going on in that room visually that a colorful rug would be too much. I love how thick and soft it is, and we all love laying on it. That said, it does get dirty easily, the threads come out all the time, and it really traps dirt and dog hair. I don't mind any of that much except the dog hair. I have yet to find a method to get rid of all the hair that gets trapped in the rug. And I think it's rather pricey, although it's very thick and substantial. Overall I like it a lot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by givinislivin from Like butter!I've been looking for a shag rug for awhile now that was soft enough to really want to walk barefoot across. I really appreciated getting to order a sample ahead of time (texture makes all the difference with shag rugs), and loved how soft it was. I will definitely be ordering one for my living room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jlohouston from Awesome rug but hard to cleanEven on the highest pile setting, the rug is hard to vacuum and get clean. We love it otherwise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by trikreb from Not durableWe were excited to have the rug in our toddler's room, loved the white and fluffy look of it. It got dingy very fast, it is incredibly hard to vacuum, and worse, the fibers dread in high traffic areas making it impossible for it to ever look good. It just looks gross. We have two cats and a dog and a toddler, so maybe not the best idea to get a white rug, but for the price, we were expecting it to last longer than it did. We vacuum it regularly and keep a very clean home. We considered getting it professionally cleaned, but it just doesn't make sense because it would need it once a month (at least) for it to look good and with the dreaded fibers, I don't think a professional clean could do anything for that. There's no way to comb through them, they're stuck together in clumps just from being stepped on many times a day... yuck!

Rated 2 out of 5 by easybreezy from Not Vacuum FriendlyThe rug is very soft and cushiony underfoot. The yarn strands can be a little longer than they appear in the photo. I am not happy with the fact that you cannot vacuum this rug. I have a dyson and have tried to vacuum with the brushes off but because the carpet strands are too long, it sucks up nothing. The strands are too long so that if you have the brushes on, then it gets stuck. If I knew this rug was not able to be vacuumed then I would have not purchased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NY Mom from Terrible rug!The pile is a lot higher than shown which makes it impossible to vacuum. As soon as we placed it the hairs started coming off of it. Returning it is a nightmare because it's so heavy and doesn't fit in the bag provided for returns.

Rated 1 out of 5 by burcalf from Really DisappointedI bought this a couple of months ago for my baby girl's room, and I am very disappointed. The shag is much longer than it appears in the pictures on the webpage. As another reviewer wrote, I am unable to vacuum the rug because the long shag wraps around the rotating brush on the vacuum cleaner. I have tried using the attachments to do the work, but it takes too long and doesn't do a good job. Not only is the shag longer than expected, it is uneven. My rug has one patch where the yarns are twice as long as the rest. I can give my rug a pony tail if I want to. After a couple of months, the rug is kind of dirty and gray, and I am going to have to get rid of it. It is too expensive of a rug to only be able to keep around for such a short time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tfrank from Impossible to vacuum!!I purchased this rug for my one year olds room. Sure its soft but unfortunately its impossible to vacuum!! It almost broke my vacuum when I tried and I have a really nice vacuum! I just don't understand how you can have a rug, advertise for it to be in a kids room and not be able to vacuum it? It even says on the back of the rug that you can vacuum or clean professionally. Which who gets the rugs cleaned professionally a few times a week?? I never write reviews but I'm very upset with this purchase, what a waste of money. I just wish I would have known this before hand so I figured I would share and hopefully help someone else out.
