Getting Around Our Site
No matter what page you’re on in our Website, there are always three easy ways to find exactly what you’re looking for. Every page gives you the option to enter a Search, to Shop, or to access our Site Index. To search for a specific item, type either the item name, keywords that describe the item, the catalog number, or the item SKU number into the Search field on the upper right hand section of every page. You can also browse for an item by moving your mouse over the Shop button at the top of every page. This will reveal a window of Categories to look through to help you locate the item. Or you can click on the Site Index appearing at the bottom section of every page. A list of Categories to choose from will appear to assist you in locating the item you’re interested in.
Telephone Orders
While we strive to give you everything you need to order online, we understand that sometimes you just need a bit more info. That’s what our customer service department is all about. Our associates are standing by (they’re actually sitting) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 800.933.9904.
Catalog Orders
There are two quick ways to do this. You can type in the exact name or catalog number of the item into the Search field appearing in the upper right hand section on every page of our Website. Or you can click on Catalog Quick Order and enter the requested information needed to find the item you’re interested in.
International Orders
We always wanted to see the world. That’s why most merchandise from The Land of Nod can be shipped internationally. Just add your desired products to your shopping cart and click on the International Order Request Button at the bottom of the page. The details of your international request will then be added to the appropriate form for you. You can also email customerservice@landofnod.com, or call 800.933.9904 or (00+1) 847.656.4700 for a quote and to place your order.
Back Orders
As hard as we try to keep all of our items in stock, we occasionally underestimate the popularity of our merchandise. In these instances, an estimated “in stock” date will be listed in red next to the item. We trust you’ll find our products worth the wait.
Sales Tax
We are required to collect sales tax on items delivered to these states: Illinois, Washington, California and North Carolina. Washington and North Carolina also require tax on all delivery charges and varies based on destination.
Colorado purchasers: Sales or Use Tax is due on certain purchases and the state of Colorado may require you to file a Sales or Use Tax Return.
Oklahoma purchasers: Because we do not have a store in Oklahoma, The Land of Nod is not required to, and does not, collect Oklahoma sales or use tax. Your purchase, however, is subject to Oklahoma use tax unless it is specifically exempt, and you therefore must report and pay the applicable tax either (a) in connection with your Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or (b) by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. Copies of those forms and instructions for completion, as well as information as to exemptions that may apply, are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website at www.tax.ok.gov. Please note that your purchase is not exempt merely because it was made over the Internet or through one of our catalogs.
South Dakota purchasers: Because we do not have a store in South Dakota, The Land of Nod is not required to, and does not, collect South Dakota sales or use tax. Your purchase, however, is subject to South Dakota use tax unless it is specifically exempt, and you therefore must report the purchase and pay the applicable tax, using the South Dakota use tax form. A copy of that form and instructions for completion, as well as information as to exemptions that may apply, are available on the South Dakota Department of Revenue and Regulation website at www.state.sd.us/drr2/businesstax/bustax.htm . Please note that your purchase is not exempt merely because it was made over the Internet, through one of our catalogues or by other remote means.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Network and Gift Cards. We do not accept clams, bananas or conch shells as payment.
Ordering Confirmations
You will receive two email confirmations from us after ordering. One will confirm reception of your order. The other will notify you when your order has shipped. Please note if you ordered furniture items you will not receive a shipping confirmation.
