Parcel Returns and Exchanges*
To process your return, just complete the returns portion of your packing slip, securely package your return, and send it back to us via a traceable method with the shipper of your choice using the address label from your packing slip. Within 90 days, refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for the original purchase price once the item(s) are received and processed. After 90 days, your refund will be in the form of a merchandise credit. Your original shipping fee is not refundable.
Exchanges will be issued for the original purchase price. Your exchanged item(s) will ship for free.

Exceptions to the Parcel Returns policy are personalized items which are not returnable. (Sorry, nothing personal.)
Gift Cards cannot be returned.

Returning or Exchanging Items Delivered by Freight
Within 90 days, refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for the original purchase price once the item(s) are received and processed. After 90 days, your refund will be in the form of a merchandise credit. Your original shipping fee is refundable.
To arrange a return or exchange of an item delivered by freight, please call us at (800) 933-9904 and ask for a Furniture Team Specialist.
If furniture was purchased at a store, contact the store to facilitate the return.
Exceptions to the Furniture Returns policy are custom items (see policy, below).
Free Returns on All Items Delivered by Freight
Think of it as a no-risk furniture purchase. If you are not satisfied with your furniture order, we will schedule a pick-up at absolutely no cost to you. Not only that, we’ll even issue you a refund for your original shipping charges. No need to thank us. Although, some cookies would be nice.
Custom Furniture* Items
There are no returns on custom-made furniture (upholstered and slip-covered beds, sofas, ottomans, and chairs). Swatches must be approved by the customer before we will proceed to place an order.

*Custom furniture is defined as an item that is slip-covered or upholstered with one of our custom fabrics.
What’s in store for you, should you want to return items at one of our stores? Within 90 days, items with the original purchase receipt will be refunded to the original form of payment; cash and check returns over $100 will be refunded by mail check. Items with an original gift receipt will be refunded for the full purchase price as a merchandise credit. Items over 90 days or items without an original or gift receipt will receive a merchandise credit for the item’s current retail price, and a valid photo ID is required.
Furniture items are returned to our warehouse directly. If furniture was purchased at a store, please contact the store to facilitate the return. If furniture was purchased at landofnod.com or by phone, please call 800.933.9904 and ask to speak to a Furniture Specialist to facilitate the return. Refunds will happen after furniture is returned and inspected at our warehouse.
Personalized Items and custom furniture items are not returnable.
Items purchased at one of our stores (excluding the Outlet), landofnod.com, or by phone call may be returned to one of our stores.
All second quality merchandise is final sale, no returns or exchanges.
First quality merchandise, excluding furniture, may be returned to the Outlet only if in original packaging. Items within 90 days of purchase with a receipt or gift receipt will receive a refund in the original form of payment; cash and check purchases over $100 will be refunded by mail check. If after 90 days, items with or without a receipt will receive a store credit for the current selling price.
The Naperville Outlet is unable to accept returns from retail stores, landofnod.com, or the catalog. Retail stores are unable to accept Outlet returns.
There is no charge for return shipping. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a prepaid shipping label for return of Gift Registry items.

If a 3rd Party receives an order on behalf of the customer from The Land of Nod, the customer will be asked to sign a waiver that releases The Land of Nod from responsibility for any damages or losses incurred or realized after the 3rd party takes possession of the merchandise.
The waiver encourages the customer to advise the 3rd party accepting delivery on their behalf to carefully inspect the item received before accepting the delivery. Once the 3rd Party has accepted delivery, The Land of Nod will not accept returns for items that are damaged or lost.
