Suzy Ultman has always had a soft spot for making dolls. At age 13, she began “making dolls from whatever I could get my scrappy hands on” (her words, we promise). Using old nylons, socks, fabrics, stuffing, googly eyes and more, Suzy was immediately driven by her love of designing. “For me, it’s not about the end product, but about the simple act of creating,” she says. Luckily for us, the end products are also pretty darn amazing. From her Hello Dolls, which are all modeled after people from her own life, to her popular Blandford Birdies wall art, Suzy’s art has made her one of our favorites to work with.
