Liz Mitchell

Liz Mitchell

No contemporary female artist has captured the spirit of children’s folk music like Elizabeth Mitchell. On Mitchell’s four outstanding CDs, she’s breathed new life into classic folk songs and created several memorable new ones. It’s hardly a surprise that Mitchell recently signed with the esteemed American recording label Smithsonian Folkways, making her label mates with Ella Jenkins, Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger.
