Mom did good.. Kids are finicky, especially with their toys, and you just never know what's going to catch their interest and keep it. I bought my son the polka dotted cat for his first birthday..and from the moment "Eddie" as he is now known, came out of the box it has been true love. He has been dragged, thrown, hugged, drooled on, snoozed on, given Cheerio's and sips of milk ,even spit up on and has held up wonderfully. While he may seem understuffed at first glance, he is the perfect consistency for little hands to grip and hold, and he smooshes up in the diaper bag perfectly. In this sometimes scary world, it's nice to have a friend who always makes you smile.. December 10, 2008

Awesome Cat but WATCH THE EARS! When my 2nd daughter was born, I started looking for a stuffed animal that would go everywhere with her and be the thing she turned to for comfort. So I wanted it to last a long time and the reviews on this were too good to pass up. I gave this to her when she was about 4 mos old and it didnt take her long to wrap her arm around it in her crib at night. Its become her best friend and "kitty" was one of her first words. This cat is awesome. One caveat--she loved to chew on Kitty's ears and one morning, I found one of them hanging by a thread and the other, a tiny, soaking wet ball in her mouth. I immediately cut the hanging ear off and since then Kitty has been ear-less. People often ask "what is that thing?" but having no ears is another part of his charm now. When my daughter couldnt chew the ears, she went for the tail. She's 13 mos old now and still loves sucking on his tail so he gets washed A LOT. At least once a week, in hot water, and regular dry cycle. Kitty has held up amazingly well through all the abuse heaped on him and comes highly recommended. February 14, 2011
