Eric Carle Animal Flash Cards 4.9 5 17 17

Beautiful, great quality, even inspiring. We gave these to our nephew over 4 years ago as a gift and he loved them, seemed to play with them whenever we were around. Now, we have them as hand-me-downs for our 3-yr old daughter and we're finding that we've use them in all kinds of different ways over the last 2 years. First, she'd name the animals on them. Next, she started identifying letters on the letter-side. Next, we've sounded out the letters and she guesses the animal on the other side of the card. Finally, we've recently started to draw pictures of animals and make shadow puppets inspired by the beautiful EC images. We'll definitely pass it along (but not anytime soon b/c we're still enjoying them). September 11, 2011

Love these My son got these when he was one and he still loves them two years later. He first learned to name all the animals and make their sounds. Then he learned letter names and now has also learned letter sounds. Some are bent, but they have held up pretty well with a destructive little boy. April 6, 2012
