In a great green room, tucked away in bed, is a little bunny. "Goodnight room, goodnight moon."
And to all the familiar things in the softly lit room— to the picture of the three little bears sitting on chairs, to the clocks and his socks, to the mittens and the kittens, to everything one by one—the little bunny says goodnight. In this classic of children's literature, beloved by generations of readers and listeners, the quiet poetry of the words and the gentle, lulling illustrations combine to make a perfect book for the end of the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish I had llistened to the reviews I wish I had listened to the reviews earlier and purchased this book when we had my first son (now age 4). We bought this book recently and read it every night to my 2 year old and 4 year old and it is an excellent way to wind down the evening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Classic We love this classic story! My 3-month-old son loves it as well. The combo of black/white and colored pages is perfect for our little one! Bedtime routine starts with a bath, saying goodnight to various rooms in the house, and other random items. Then, finally reading the book itself (sometimes more than once)! Goodnight Moon gets him right into sleepy mode! =) Awesome, endearing story!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential Part of Bedtime Rituals From the time my daughter was born we have read to her "Goodnight Moon" as part of her bedtime routine each night. The black and white illustrations captured her attention as an infant and she eagerly began to turn the pages and show excitement for the colorful pictures that followed. She grew from merely pointing to objects in the pictures, to telling us their names, and now puts her finger to her mouth to hush when we find the quiet old lady! She enjoys this book so much that we needed to have another copy at Grandma's house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic book for early signers When our child was first learning sign language, this book was a huge help. Many pictures of her first signs are featured. A year later, this is still a bedtime favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goodnight Everyone! HI! I'm eight months old and Goodnight Moon is one of my favorite books ever. My Mommy and Daddy have been reading it to me since I was 20 weeks old in my Mommy's tummy. Now I can see the pictures and turn the pages. I like the cow jumping over the moon the best.
