Given his acrobatic skills, we're pretty sure this guy would be guaranteed a gold medal at the next Olympics. Unfortunately, wooden toys aren't allowed to compete. Neither are monkeys. Or wooden toy monkeys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old Fashion I love this cute, old fashion type of toy. No batteries, just simple fun. My boys love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hysterical! This is super-cute and we love to play with it. My daughter loves monkeys and zoo/circus animals. Her hands are too small right now to work it, but she loves to watch it. It makes her giggle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes its Fragile Yes, this one is fragile and wouldn't hold up well in little hands unsupervised but its just as cute as can be. I keep him up on my son's dresser unless he is requested. Was a great addition to my kid's stocking!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute little gymnast I always loved these kinds of gymnastic animal toys, but unfortunately my four year old son did not seem to care about this one. Maybe one day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spinner The toy hasn't changed since I was a kid, still does the same tricks which aren't a ton, but my daughter's little hands can still make him do the gymnastics. Not an overwhelmingly sturdy toy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nostalgic but Fragile Bought this for my three year old granddaughter and between her older brother and her it did not stand the test of time. The string snapped almost right away. I bought it, remembering the ones I had when I was a kid that I owned till I gave them to my kids--who promptly broke them. Maybe they're not really meant for children. ;-))

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easily broken My son LOVED this thing. It lasted exactly one day. First a leg broke off when he dropped it. although it would still swing up and around. Then the arm broke a few hours later while he was playing with it. I saw it happen, he was using the toy properly and was not over squeezing it. I'll give it two starts because it is a great example of how kids can fall in love with a simple toy, but it would be nice if it could actually survive a child playing with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute, but will break quickly This little monkey was cute and a fun toy, but it lasted less than 2 minutes. I thought maybe the string would be the first thing to break, but it was the wooden posts that just split right off. Unfixable. They won't last longer than a few minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke within minutes I bought this for my son as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. As soon as he began playing with it, the string broke. It was too complicated to try to fix. Thankfully he had other things to take his mind off his new broken toy.
