Rated 5 out of 5 by from Architecturally Beautiful Wow! The beauty of these shelves lie in their simplicity. Clean, strong lines with modern angles make for a truly stylish showpiece. Oh, and it's a bookshelf too! I couldn't be happier and receive compliments nonstop. Thanks again, LON for selecting unique, quality pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really happy Just got this and it's a beautiful addition to our boys' room.  It's so much more open and light-feeling than a heavy wooden bookshelf, yet there is tons of room for a zillion books, plants, photos.  Great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and airy, plenty of storage I like this bookshelf as it is not heavy and doesn't intrude in the room. There is plenty of space for books and treasures. I have one, and will probably buy another in the future for my other DC room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and sturdy I was a little worried about the tipping over factor with a 3 year old boy running around. But this has exceeded my expectations. It's perfect for the massive books we've collected. It's also something he can grow with (doesn't scream 'nursery')

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made, stylish, unobtrusive I love this bookcase. I bought it for my sons' room in an explorer style. It's filled with globes and treasures. I use book ends for the books, it adds interest and keeps them on the shelves. There is plenty of space. The offset shelves add interest. It is not bulky in the room. All in all a great piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made This just arrived (already set up so no assembly was required).   It is smaller than I imagined but seems to be well made and sturdy, always a concern about furniture purchased online.  I wish it came in a dark brown/coffee color -- but it's nice enough that I'll have it painted.  It looks good, I'm pleased with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for what you want to show off We bought this about two months ago for my 4 yr old boy. The other furniture in his room is dark wood and we wanted something that added an industrial touch yet was functional. This book case is great. It isn't overpowering in the room and has a ton of space for displaying books, trinkets and even a little table lamp. It will grow with him.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some flaws in design I looked for quite some time for a bookshelf for my daughter's room. I liked the clean, simple lines of this and also felt like it would last. Overall I felt it was a little bit expensive considering how simple the design is. Also, I had to have my husband make me small wooden barriers for the ends because the books were ALWAYS falling out. That made it difficult for my 3 year old to put books away herself. Even though we don't use the entire shelf for books I think a better design would have barriers at the ends of each of the shelves to help keep books and other items contained.
