If I Had a Hammer Workbench is rated 4.5745 out of 5 by 47.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Bench I can't get over the quality of these items. I just love the natural, durable and quality of the wood. The colors are bright and the tools are just so much fun! (I kind of like to play, too!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, fun, and creative This was given to our daughter, and she loves it. She is only 3, but she is trying to figure out how to screw on the bolt, or hammer the nail. This toy is great for working on fine motor and gross motor skills. It is engaging to the child and they use their imagination to build. Our 19 mo old is now discovering this toy and he is beginning to use it throughout the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Toy My son received this last Christmas and it is still his favorite toy. We currently have work being done on our house, he loves to pretend to be just like them. It is a big hit when my son's friends come over, as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Multiple Children Of all the workbenches I considered this one stood out because of design: I liked that it was an open table allowing both of my boys to play, one on each side. In fact, my baby can sit up and play with the toys on the storage tray, allowing her interaction with her brothers. With the tool rack on the side of the bench and the storage tray underneath, it is very compact and fits perfectly in our small house. It stores neatly against the wall and my kids can easily drag it out at playtime --without ruining my flooring. This bench is well built! My kids can climb on it and sit on it without fear of it tipping or collapsing. We have had it for almost a year now and all of the pieces are still in great condition; and my kids can be rough! The tools really work (except for the saw, of course, but that's a good thing). What my boys like best is that the claw of the hammer really pulls the nails out of the pegholes. And my baby girl loves to bang the hammer. This toy does require some interaction on the parent's part: guidance on how to screw and unscrew various "projects" until the child is able to do this on his own. Hammering and sawing are independent activities for even very young toddlers though, so the child can also play alone.Great purchase and my kids will enjoy it for years. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice for grandson My grandson is not quite 3. We gave him the workbench for Christmas and it's his favorite thing to play with. He loves to pound, use the vise and use the saw. Definitely well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect and sturdy for toddlers! We purchsed this 2 years ago for my son (now 4) and he still plays with it and it is still in great shape! This product is well worth the money and looks adorable in our playroom!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and loud workbench Our three year old loves pounding nails and driving screws with his very own tools. Agree with other reviews that the nails drop almost all the way into the hole without pounding, but it doesn't stop the fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Tool Bench! I bought this for my 18 month old son for Christmas. He loves it! It is so cute, and really well made. I would definitely recommend it to others. He can't really use all the tools yet, but has figured out how to hammer the nails in and pull them out with the nail puller on the hammer. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutest Workbench My toddler received this for Christmas and he LOVES it. I had researched the wooden workbenches out there (and even ordered another one) before discovering that Land of Nod carried this one. It's hard to find a distributor of this brand in the U.S. I love that it's sturdy and every detail is so adorable. There are also more pieces to build with than many other similar workbenches. He loves the saw and the vice and I know this will keep him happy and busy for years to come! Great product, and I was sooooo happy to get it on sale with free shipping before the holidays, :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous wood working bench Both my son's and daughter enjoy playing on this very sturdy little work bench. Many play dates have revolved around the theme of working together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Workbench! This toy is just so much fun. Our son started playing with it when he was only 2 years old, and had a blast. He quickly learned to hit the pegs with the hammer and try to screw in the bolts! He even enjoyed just sorting all the shapes and colors of the nuts and bolts, and saying, "octagon!", "square!". I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Tool Bench Lasts and Lasts Santa brought this tool bench to my son the Christmas that my son turned three. He is now a second grader and the bench itself was just retired this fall (to make room for his little sisters toys). The tools however are still in heavy rotation. He sister now loves to fix things around the house (and he isn't above helping her out from time to time). What stands out about this bench in that that you can really create little sculptures and actually "do" something with the tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service I bought this bench 3  years ago for 3 of my grandchildren.  Since then, they have moved from Florida to Indiana and have outgrown it, but recently it was passed down to my other 2 grandchildren in Kentucky.  However, we were missing 3 of the tools, so I emailed customer service and had a response within 30 minutes.  Five days later the missing tools arrived at my door, at no charge.  What can be better than that?  I love The Land of Nod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tool Bench My son destroys everything and this toy has survived! He thoroughly enjoys it, and has for almost a year now. He is 3 years old, and it keeps him entertained. This is definitely a good purchase.
