Turn Your Little One into a Reader!
As a parent, there are few things more important for me to pass on to our little girl than a love of reading. By having a bookshelf that gives our daughter access to all her books, organized in a way she can see them and pick out her favorites, and interact with her books independently has made books the center of her play world. She got this for her first birthday, and in the last four months it's become the first place she heads in the morning. At 16 months, she even puts her books away on her own. She definitely gets that this is her bookshelf, and it fits beautifully into our main family area in our home. A great find!

Great for displaying books
This bookcase was smaller than I was expecting, and I think a little pricey. However, it is very sturdy and is serving its purpose well. I purchased the bookcase to display titles that were getting lost in our bookshelves. Skinny paperbacks were not often chosen by my 4 year old because they are hard to see in a standard bookcase. I rotate the books in this display unit to help her rediscover some of our titles. It has worked very well. When I put new books out on this bookcase, she usually brings them to me to read or sits down and looks through them independently.

Great display for books, limited storage
We purchased this book bin b/c our book cases were too full and my four year old had problems selecting books for me to read to him b/c he couldn't recognize the book based upon seeing only the binding. This book bin solves that problem! It allows us to display books for him and he has a much easier time picking out books for us to read to him.
Note that the book bin holds a limited number of books. I could put about 15 or so hardbound books on the bin (not paperback or cardbook books). We put this book bin next to our bookshelf which is the same height, has three shelves and can hold at least ten times as many books.
This is a great purchase for our needs right now. I anticipate using it for another few years but my older son, who is six, has outgrown the use of this book bin already since he's reading chapter books (paperback) and the book bin is best for displaying larger hardbound picture books.

Fantastic for a new big girl room!
Daughter loves it! It is next to her converted big girl bed. The bookcase came completely assembled; is very sturdy and looks lovely. Perfect for oversized books and picture books. Great product!!!
