This isn't the best slide whistle, but for the price it's a fun toy to have in the toy chest.

Good wood toy
Not too loud, not too shrill. My toddler loves it, and I can bear it- even in the car.

Super Cute
This is a cute whistle that works well. The price is great and I think it also makes a nice "tuck in" gift or stocking stuffer.

Amusing and well made
I'm delighted to get such a well-made old fashioned wooden toy for such a great price. I'm picky about noises, and this has a pleasant volume and tone. We use it with or without putting mouth to it, although it sounds more interesting with mouth/air. You may want to buy one for each kid for that reason.
