Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Introduction to Instruments We first used these in a music class that my two year old attends. They are a favorite with all the children. When I found at LON, we had to have them for home. A must have for beginner musicians!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun These have been loved! They are very durable and have withstood lots of smacking. The only thing I have been unhappy with is my son thought the wall would make a good drum

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product at great price Its a shame that so many young children do not have simple musical instruments at the same time that their parents are paying exorbitant prices for them to see Yo Gabba Gabba and the like. Rhythm sticks are great as they take up little space (in contrast to drums) and are a very economical purchase. We do a playgroup at my house and we always end up with a marching band - my child's friends are always excited to choose and play one of her many instruments. Strongly encourage this purchase along with the slide whistle and tambourine sold on site (also recent additions).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun! These are such a simple toy that provide a lot of entertainment. My toddler loves to use them as drum sticks on most anything (of course!) but he's also starting to use them as intended when we listen to music. I'm looking forward to helping him develop his rhythm and musical style with these. They are very durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This was one of our stocking stuffer gifts and has been played with non stop since. It produces a nice clean sound and came with a little pamphlet of suggestions of songs to play and other instruments to combine them with. It makes a great anytime gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rhythm Sicks - not just for kids anymore I am a music director and am always looking for new and easy ways for my singers to enjoy their performances. These sticks give a 'real' sound with a solid sound. They do not sound like 'play' instruments, yet they are easy to handle, even with a folder of music. They are lightweight but full bodied in sound. Good for ALL ages!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Fun, Very Durable My twin sons love these...there are a variety of ways to use them to produce a sound (you can tap them together, slide the sticks, etc), and they are easy to use.  After taking a "Mommy and Me" music class together, we learned a bunch of songs that use these sticks for sound and motion (use them to pretend to stir, row a boat, etc).  You can be super creative.  These are really durable and are a great price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gift! We put these in our daughter's Christmas stocking and she loves them. They are just like the rhythm sticks in her music class. They also come with some music cards which is a nice bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Set of Rhythm Sticks These sticks are nice; a solid set that should withstand wear from frequent play. I teach a children's music program where we use rhythm sticks often. Comparing the two types (this pair and the kind we use) here are a couple of things I DO NOT like about this pair: they are different sizes. The ribbed stick is fat and the smooth stick is skinny. The lengths are different, as well. I'm not sure why they are designed like that. Not a big deal though. The second dislike is that they leave color when they strike other toys, etc. My son has a Little Tikes drum and when he uses these sticks on the white drum top, the red color from the sticks rubs off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Odds and Ends This was one of a couple different music items that we got our daughter for Christmas. She has them in her room in a "music area" that she loves to sit and explore in.
