Rated 5 out of 5 by nestingmom from happy customerI purchased two of these for our baby's nursery because I wanted a book ledge that worked in a small space. I was able to install these above the rocking chair and display about 10 of the baby books. They look perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Danielle2 from Great shelf! We have two of these book shelves in my daughter's room and I love the look! It really makes the vintage children's books really stand out! Yes, it's more difficult to hang up these shelves since the hardware is all hidden, but it looks amazing when you're done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by sweetnicole from Looks great and feels solid - I want more! This book ledge provides a polished way for book storage and is strong enough to be mounted within the reach of my crazy two year old son. My only regret is only purchasing one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by slackie from Great for Limited SpaceWe have 3 white book ledges. When hanging, they were a little tricky to line up (we have them in a straight row). Now that they're up - they are sturdy and look great! It turns our tiny playroom into a quaint little reading room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jasminem from Nice shelvesI bought 4 of these shelves for my son's room (he is 5 months). Very attractive and sturdy. My only issue is that while they do hold/display some of his books very nicely, the depth is narrow. So if you only want to display thin books it is fine but with thicker books (not necessarily heavier, just thicker) they end up having to stand straight up on their edges and often will fall off the shelf. But, overall it is a very nice shelf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carlyald2 from Cool for book displayWe purchased two of these to use as book displays. The shelves are indeed very narrow. We are only able to display three books on each. However, they are made well, easy to hang, and look great on the wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by amandamckinley from Cute way to show off a few of your favorite booksI bought three of these for my little one's nursery. They look really nice, although they're a teensy bit narrower than I expected (even though I measured before I ordered). Each one holds four to five small board books reasonably. Any more than that and they start falling off. That's ok, though... stacking too many would hide the pretty book covers, which is the whole reason I wanted these shelves to begin with! The only reason I'm giving these shelves four stars instead of five is because I was able to hang two of them really flush to the wall, while the third one hangs off a bit despite hanging it the exact same way as the others. Of course it's the bottom one that's a little wobbly, so I'm sure I'll have to get creative when my babe gets big enough to grab at it. However, at the end of the day, they really do a nice job of showing off her books!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Stanley Stepanic from Beautiful But...These things are great, the best you can find. HOWEVER, it's a LIVING PIT OF DECEIT getting them on the wall. The brackets were slightly off on each of the four ledges we bought, meaning they all had to be measured separately. The instructions indicate they're 16" apart. YEAH RIGHT, I respond. Because you have to be pretty spot-on accurate to get them on there due to the shape of the bracket holes, you need to measure each one separately. Even 1/8" can make a HUGE difference on getting them positioned properly, and guess what, they're all off about that much in a variety of fun ways (sarcasm).Further, the drywall anchors are awful, very cheap plastic. In two cases we needed to pound them in the wall with the hammer and one bent, which took an additional 15 minutes of scrunching fun with a wrench to get it to go in. You're better off buying heavy-duty anchors for a dollar or two and NOT using the ones these come with. A further complication is, once you have the ledges on the wall, you can only get SO close with them. It's not possible to have them flush, that requires using shims or putty to make them completely flat against the wall. They're great for what they are, but installation is TERRIBLE. Be prepared for hours of pain.

Rated 2 out of 5 by stephg from 4 out of 6 ain't bad - I guessThese are so functional and love how they look however out of 6 two were not perfect. One the back area to hang was crooked so was difficult to install and the other had chipped paint. I will keep them but I expect more from Land of Nod.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustrated2014 from Awful hardware. The book ledge itself is nice. The hardware is terrible and made this a frustrating install. We had to buy our own hardware and drill into the wall twice. I would have rather paid more for good hardware. Normally I love land of nod stuff.
