Rated 5 out of 5 by jackieb from GREAT UNISEX RUGI bought this rug for my son's room. He is turning 5. I had bought the "pink" version. At the time, I do not believe it was labeled as "pink" nor do I recall ever seeing the "blue" version.I was skeptical based on the reviews that mentioned it included a lot of pink or purple, I was unsure it would be a good fit for my son's room. When it arrived, I was so pleased. It was thicker than I anticipated and provides a nice cushion when seated on kneeling on it. It matches everything in his room. Certainly, there are pinks and purples running through it, but there also plenty or blues and greens to balance it out. It's a really fun rug and so forgiving. A few of the "knots" come undone here and there, i just tuck them back in when I notice it. It's not a big deal at all. It shed some loose threads at first but vacuuming tackled that it issue well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dickersons from LoveWe bought this rug before finding out the gender of our child and we're thrilled it would look great either way. Had a girl and it's a great asset to the room!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom of 2 CFBS from So fun! These reviews are spot on! I read each before purchasing 3 (8 x 10) of these for our basement/play space. The two rugs that are on the "active" side of the basement (i.e.. under swings and under monkey bars/rings) are starting to come untucked in places. Though they can be tucked back in, I haven't bothered just yet. The one on the other side where simple block stacking, etc has been happening is still in tip-top shape after 4 months of play. I wouldn't trade these rugs, because they are SO DARN fun! The colors, patterns, and textures are so unique that they liven up the space without it looking too kiddie. Most certainly, this rug would look amazing in any kid room, but I would use it in any space that just needs a little fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anoklahomagirl from Beautiful but not for tiny onesWe bought this rug several months ago for our 1 year old's playroom. It is absolutely gorgeous and we get compliments on it frequently. It also is soft and great for hiding stains, etc. I will caution that tiny fingers enjoy pulling some of the looser fabric pieces out - which vacuums then can make worse. I have been able to thread them back through each time - just a time consuming process. Like I mentioned - beautiful rug - just be careful if you have little ones!

Rated 3 out of 5 by eaggia from beautiful BUT very hard to cleanI bought this rug over a year ago for our daughters room. The rug itself is beautiful. Like most rugs made this way, eventually the fabric starts to come up and out between the weaves and there are pieces sticking out everywhere. I can get past that, because its just the way the rug is, and that's ok. However, we have 2 labs...they shed. And even with vacuuming, it is very hard to get the hair up, and if someone has an accident on the rug, or spills anything, it is absolutely impossible to clean. The weave is so tight that you could never get it properly dry if you tried to use a carpet cleaner. I realize that I could just not let our animals into our daughters room, but that gets to be a bit challenging. After a year of use, the rug has held up well, but the high traffic area definitely looks dirty. I wish so much I could use our carpet cleaner on it. Best I can say, is vacuum extremely well...turn the brushes off on your vacuum if you can, then spray the rug with a fabreeze/disinfectant spray and let sit for about 45 minutes to an hour to dry. If I could clean this rug, I'd give it 5 stars. I am currently looking for another rug for our daughters room so that I can move this rug into the guest room where there is less traffic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kkuzma from great color questionable durabilityI bought this rug for the vibrant teal color and unique texture. It totally exceeded my expectations in that respect. As far as durability goes, I think it depends on where you are putting it. I put mine in my kids play room and again, LOVED the look but we are now one and half months in and we have fabric pulling free in multiple places. It will be an easy fix with some thread but my kids are just hard on it. I don't see this rug making it more than two to three years. I didn't get the pad they recommended (my mistake) since its on hardwood, that would have helped. I have purchased a rug pad to help with the life of the rug and definitely recommend getting one. price is far for what you get and it does cozy up the room and give it that playfull look i was hoping for. hope this review helps.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ARHK from Attractive rugWe bought this for my daughter's bedroom and are very happy with the way it looks. It does get a bit "tufty," but I am not surprised since it is, after all, a not-super-expensive rag rug. Two things I wish I had known is that it sheds quite a bit--little threads will stick to you if you sit on it wearing dark clothing--and that it is quite high--after purchasing, we had to have our daughter's closet doors shaved down so they will open over the rug. Overall, a cute product for a girl's bedroom, but a few drawbacks if you're picky.

Rated 3 out of 5 by etbk from Ribbons Pull Out Over TimeWe've had this rug (8x10) for about 10 months. It's beautiful and whimsical without feeling "kiddie," surprisingly soft to sit on and great at hiding stains. I'm giving it 3 stars b/c the ribbons pull out with use and vacuuming so now the rug isn't flat--it has all these tufts sticking up. Another reviewer mentioned tucking them back in but I'm not doing that every week and neither is my 2.5 year old. It's a bummer b/c it looks messy and worn.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Fields from Too delicateI absolutely love the look of this rug but the fabric pieces started coming untucked after just a month and vacuuming makes it worse. I've had it close too a year now and hate how messy it looks. I've tucked some pieces back in but it's too time consuming. I wish I'd had these reviews to read before buying it. I wouldn't do it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kristeng from Terrible qualityI bought this rug about a month ago and it is terrible. I already have to replace it, which is infuriating. The first time I vacuumed it the weaving came undone and I had to spend hours poking the loose strands back into the rug. It is also not reversible. If you have pets and need to vacuum forget it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ren0815 from Beautiful but impractical for kids' roomI bought this rug for my daughters' room and it is absolutely adorable. It complimented the decor beautifully, but it simply isn't practical for a kids room. Within 2 weeks after purchasing the ribbons started lifting up and though I tried to keep up with pushin them back in, eventually I succumbed and now the rug is a bt of a mess! It does not look as good as it did when I purchased it 6 months ago. In fact I am now in a search for a different, more durable rug as this one won't hold up for much longer...
