Rated 5 out of 5 by Anngelique11 from Most adorable sensory table EVERWe bought this as a sensory table and currently have it in our kitchen. We've filled it with all types of materials (cotton balls, split peas, shredded newspaper with hidden toys in addition to water. Many years ago we had the Jonti table - this one is definitely more beautiful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sarbear123 from Love this!Bought this for our girls (2 and 4), they love the extra space around it since it's an upgrade from one of the smaller plastic water tables. Looks nicer obviously as well! Based on other reviews, we purchased a cheap furniture cover for it to protect from the elements. A coffee table cover fits perfectly! Definitely worth the upgrade if your kids love playing in sand/water it as much as ours do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ahrenf from Love this table, but flawsSo I was basically obsessed with this table when we got it. Like LOVED it. I still do, however after taking the top off and on a few times, some of the gray has chipped on the top of the table. Now I am super nervous it will rust...which would be no good since I paid a pretty penny for this table. I would recommend rubber on the underside of the wood top instead of metal. Fingers crossed it doesn't rust or that LON has suggestions of what I can put on it to protect from rust!

Rated 3 out of 5 by caitiesz from Rusting/paint chippingWe bought this last year and it hasn't held up. The kids do love it and still use it, which is why it even gets 3 stars. It started to rust after a couple months. Some of the paint has peeled from the bottom of the water reservoir. And the drains are very difficult to open.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 3littlegirls from Drain hard to open but great sizeI wish they would offer clear Tupperware with lids that fit inside each compartment. The drains are impossible to open (I have to use a butter knife to pry them open). And even open it doesn't drain too well. I'll be interested to see if the lid does anything. It's a beautiful table. I wish they'd consult a mom who has had multiple water tables to try and work out specifics...

Rated 3 out of 5 by mama_b from stylish but rusts for no reasonFinally a stylish sand and water table! Love the look (no cheesy plastic that would fade) and the kids LOVE it, but it rusts for no reason. There are no nicks in the paint, we don't keep water stored in it, we are baffled. The rust will come off with a magic eraser, but who wants to do that every time it's used? After summer we may see if we can get it powder coated by someone else to stop the rusting, but we are bummed that this happened. Not only is it unsightly, it isn't cool that the kids have to play in rusty looking water. It has so much potential and there's nothing else like it on the market!

Rated 3 out of 5 by mbeths from open slats on top - not able to keep sand drythis is a gorgeous table- but i did want to let others know that there are open slats on top. we planned to leave in an uncovered area, but the sand will not be protected from the elements, regretfully.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Fidola14 from Not rain proof!Got this yesterday and love it! BUT we have a little rain this morning and the sand side flooded with water with the lid on. I used kinetic sand which is pricey and unfortunately ruined. Love Land of Nod and buy from there more than my husband would like to admit. Was hoping this would be top quality for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Michedwenger from Not great for useWe bought this last summer and filled it with sand only to realize that between the slatted top and the open handles on the side that the sand will get soaked. We then decided to just make it a water table or use it with ice and drinks at cookouts but now it's rusted pretty bad. I think I've finally made the decision to just give up on it and look for something more traditional for kids.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ohday from Sand and Surf TableWe have had this table for a month now. It has already started to rust in all of the corners and on the metal frame on the top. Not intended for outdoor/uncovered use. Land of Nod is working with me to replace/refund.
